VH-EAG, a Lockheed Super C-121 Constellation — affectionately known as “Connie” flies off into the sunset at the Australian International Airshow 2013 in Avalon, Australia.

Connie was built in 1955 and commenced service with the United States Air Force. Connie spent from 1962 to 1977 flying with various US Air National Guard divisions.

After spending almost 15 years in storage at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Connie was acquired by HARS (Historical Aircraft Restoration Society) and restored before being flown to the current home in February 1996.

Connie is on display at HARS at the Illawarra Regional Airport in Albion Park Rail (near Wollongong), NSW.
